On Monday night, the Pine Bluff City Council sent a proposed ordinance dealing with wrecked, abandoned and inoperable vehicles back to a committee for further work.
The proposed ordinance was up for its third and final reading when Council Member Bruce Lockett, who sponsored the legislation pulled it from consideration.
Tuesday morning, Council Member Joni Alexander appeared on the Oldies 101.3 morning show and talked about that proposed ordinance.
She also said that during the same meeting, the council voted to transfer money from grass cutting to demolition projects.
