One person was killed and a second injured in a two-vehicle accident in Hot Spring County Monday afternoon.
According to a preliminary report, Terry Eugene Hill Jr., 40, of Malvern was westbound on U.S. Highway 270 when the 2015 Jeep he was driving failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the eastbound lanes, striking a Transit Van driven by Alice Sandraamanda Banks, 32, also of Malvern head-on
Hill was pronounced dead at the scene and Banks was taken to a Little Rock hospital for treatment.
The accident was reported at 4:35 p.m. and the death was the 306th so far this year on the state’s highways.
