A $5,000 bond was set Thursday for a McGehee man accused of threatening a woman Tuesday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jerome Adkins, 48, with terroristic threatening.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Katelyn Phillips explained the allegation against Adkins.

Adkins was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 29.
