A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a man currently on probation who is accused of breaking into a store in the early morning hours.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Brandon Cross, 36, with commercial burglary and theft of property.
The allegations are based on an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin that was read in court by Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander.
Cross was told to come back to court March 5.
