A $50,000 cash only bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man on theft and drug related charges.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Latrell White, 49, with theft by receiving, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reading from an affidavit by Trooper Neal of the Arkansas State Police, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on Nov. 25, Neal received an alert from the Flock camera system that a silver Cadillac that had been reported stolen was in the area of 13th Avenue and Cypress Street.
West said White has pending theft charges and is out on bond, and multiple prior convictions dating back to the 1990’s.
He was told to come back to court Jan. 24.
