A $50,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly broke into the main library in the late evening hours Saturday and damaged items in the building.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Quandarian Green, 30, with commercial burglary and criminal mischief.
Detective Dante Nicholson reported that at 11:45 p.m., an officer was sent to the library at 600 S. Main Street in response to a reported alarm call and when the officer arrived, found a man later identified as Green standing outside the building.
The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Green and he was told to come back to court March 17.
