A $25,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Sherrill woman accused of leaving Jefferson Hospital Tuesday afternoon and breaking into a nearby house.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ariel Crumpton 31, with residential burglary and criminal mischief.

During the court hearing, a deputy prosecutor said at 3:5 p.m., a Pine Bluff Police Officer was sent to the Emergency Room at the hospital in response to a report that a house near the hospital had been broken into.

Crumpton is currently on probation and was told to come back to court March 5.
