A $15,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of choking her daughter during an altercation.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jamila Smith, 46, with aggravated assault on a family household.
Smith was arrested after police were sent to a reported domestic disturbance involving a mother and daughter at 2601 S. Olive St.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Laquincia Smith, a deputy prosecutor explained the allegation.
Smith was told to have no contact with her daughter and to come back to court March 12.
