A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of stealing a gas can from the McDonald’s on Blake Street.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Elvis Branch with breaking or entering and misdemeanor theft of property.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Keith Banks, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said an officer was sent to McDonald’s on Blake Street.
West said Branch has prior convictions including theft of property, residential and commercial burglary, and on drug charges.
He was told to come back to court Sept. 4.
