A $1,500 bond was set Wednesday for a Cleveland County man accused of pushing and shoving his pregnant cousin and threatening her with a knife.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Treyvione Wainright, 20, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Reading from an affidavit by Sheriff’s Sg. Clayton Cantrell, a deputy prosecutor said on Monday, sheriff’s deputies were sent to an armed disturbance on Brinkley Road.

Cantrell then interviewed Wainright.

Wainright was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court May 14.
