A $75,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of sexually assaulting a minor female.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jerry Keith Goodman, 60, with second-degree sexual assault.
Deputy Prosecutor MIrcha King told the court that Arkansas State Police investigators interviewed the eight-year-old victim on Aug. 4 and were told that Goodman had penetrated the child’s private parts with his finger and penis. The girl said he had also penetrated her anus, causing bleeding.
King said Goodman is a Level 3 sex offender and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
