A $50,000 cash only bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man on drug and traffic related charges.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kendrick Parker, 32, with felony fleeing, aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputy Prosecutor Caleb Conrad told the court what happened.

Conrad said multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the pursuit including an Arkansas State Trooper, Shane Caviness who used a pit maneuver to force the car driven by Parker off the road and into the median without injuries to any of the officers.

After Parker was taken into custody, Conrad described what police found.

Parker was not interviewed because he was under the influence. He said he would hire his own attorney.
