A $50,000 bond was set Wednesday for an Altheimer woman who allegedly fired shots at a vehicle containing another woman after an altercation.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ashauria Jackson, 20, with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and committing a terroristic act.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said the incident occurred on Feb. 23.

Wilfong reported that when Jackson was questioned Monday, she admitted firing shots at the other vehicle. She was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court April 3.

Jackson said she would hire her own attorney.
