A $50,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of criminal use of a prohibited weapon.
Michael Maxwell, 23, was taken into custody after police stopped a vehicle Maxwell was riding in Saturday for a traffic violation.
Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the arrest.
Maxwell, who has no prior convictions or pending charges, said he would hire his own attorney.
