A Redfield woman was arrested Monday after she allegedly pointed a handgun at a woman and her child while driving on I-530.

Jamie Jones, 43, was taken into custody after the victim followed Jones to a location in White Hall and called police.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from White Hall Police investigator Clayton Cantrell, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson told the court what the alleged victim said.

Carson said the victim told police Jones had the gun in one hand and a cell phone in the other)

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 bond for Jones, who Carson said had no prior convictions or pending charges, after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with two counts of terroristic threatening. She was told to come back to court Feb. 16.
