UPDATE: A $5 million bond was set for 42-year-old Jason Rucker of Jefferson County after a Grant County judge found probable cause to charge him with First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault on a family or household member.

Rucker is accused of killing 46-year-old Chasity Taylor and wounding a 13-year-old juvenile in a Wednesday afternoon shooting on Grant County Road 56.

According to a press release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office the 13-year-old has been released from the hospital and is with family.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon on Grant County Road 56 that left one person dead and another person injured.

According to a release from Grant County Sheriff Pete Roberts Grant County Deputies and Arkansas State Troopers arrived to the scene to find an adult female and juvenile male that had been shot. Resuscitation efforts were made on the female, but she succumbed to her wounds at the scene. The juvenile was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital to be treated and is currently in stable condition.

A suspect at the scene, Jason Rucker, was taken into custody and is being held at the Grant County Detention Center.
