A $35,000 cash-only bond was set Friday for a Redfield man accused of assaulting two people and threatening to kill them and two others.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Larry Little, 54, with two counts of aggravated assault and four counts of terroristic threatening.

According to a probable cause from sheriff’s Investigator Sandra Harper, deputies were sent to a reported armed disturbance at a house on Redbud Street in Redfield Thursday.

When they arrived, they took Little into custody and recovered a .22-caliber pistol and Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King told the court what deputies were told.

King said deputies attempted to interview Little but he became irate and began to yell and curse and the interview was halted.

Court records showed that Little has pending charges of second-degree battery, aggravated assault, and terroristic threatening stemming from a 2021 arrest. He was ordered to have no contact with the victims until the case is settled.
