A $30,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly hit his pregnant wife Thursday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Harry Boston, 40, with second-degree domestic battery.

Deputy Prosecutor MIrcha King told the court what police reported about the incident.

Boston was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled. He said he would hire his own attorney.
