A $3,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man who attempted to cash three forged checks this week.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Noah Roush, 21, with three counts of second-degree forgery.

Reading form an affidavit from Detective Sgt. Michael Roberts, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the allegation.

West said Roush has a case pending in circuit court based on an arrest earlier this year, and a failure to appear charge in district court. He was told to come back to court Jan. 25.
