A $25,000 reward is being offered for information in the death of 26-year-old Marquis Martin of Wilmar, whose body was discovered March 7, nearly a month after he was reported missing.

 

Martin was last seen on surveillance video at the Murphy USA gas station on February 9, shortly after leaving work at the McDonalds restaurant in Monticello. Martin reportedly was given a ride from the gas station to his home in Wilmar, according to the Drew County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Martin’s body was discovered on March 7 around 7:05 a.m., north of Wilmar.

 

The Drew County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police are not releasing the results of an autopsy conducted by the state Crime Lab due to the ongoing investigation.
