A $250,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of firing shots at a vehicle and injuring one occupant of that vehicle.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Andre Turner, 46, with first-degree battery, aggravated assault, terroristic act, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputy Prosecutor Keith Hall said Turner has an extensive criminal history dating back to the ’90s and was sentenced to 48 months in prison with that sentence suspended 30 days before this recent incident.

Hall said on April 1, Turner was with three other people inside a small club called the Morocco Club on Fir Street.

Turner was told to have no contact with the victims until the case is settled and to come back to court June 21. In addition, the Department of Corrections has filed a parole hold on Turner and he will be held without bond pending a hearing to determine if he should be sent back to prison to complete a previous sentence
