$25,000 bond set for woman accused of stabbing boyfriend

A $25,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend Saturday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Karen Pollock, 35, with first-degree battery.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander told the court what Pollock is accused of doing.

Pollock was ordered to have no contact with the victim and said she would hire he own attorney. She was told to come back to court April 14.
