Sunday, Oct. 28 — At 10:30 a.m., the celebration will begin with UAPB Day at Full Counsel Church, 517 S. Cherry St. Sponsored by the Word of Faith Student Fellowship – UAPB Chapter, the event is free and open to the public. The session will feature the UAPB Vesper Choir and Marching Band.

Sunday, Oct. 28 — At 7 p.m., the Gospel Extravaganza will feature nationally known recording artist Kierra “KiKi” Sheard at the J.M. Ross auditorium of the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Building at UAPB. Admission is $10 for the general public and free to UAPB students with a valid ID. Doors will open at 6 p.m. The extravaganza is sponsored by the Student Government Association.

Tuesday, Oct. 30 — From noon to 3 p.m., the Golden Lion Festival will be held at the L.A. Davis Sr. Student Union lawn and the W.E. O’Bryant Bell Tower.

Wednesday, Oct. 31 — Festivities begin with Jazz in the Café from 12:30to 2 p.m. in the Student Union cafeteria.

Wednesday, Oct. 31 — At 6 p.m., Angelica Perkins will be crowned the 89th Miss University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff during the coronation ceremony in the J.M. Ross auditorium of the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Building. The Pride Palace Ball will begin immediately after in the Student Union lounge. Formal attire is required.

Thursday, Nov. 1 — At 8:30 a.m., the alumni scholarship golf tournament will be held at Harbor Oaks golf course. Registration information can be obtained by calling the Office of Alumni Affairs at 870-575-8499.

Thursday, Nov. 1 — At 11 a.m., Walmart Superstore, 5501 S. Olive St., will host a Golden Lion Day pep rally for UAPB students, alumni and supporters. The event will feature the marching band and cheerleaders.

Thursday, Nov. 1 — From 4-7 p.m., the celebration continues with a block party at the W.E. O’Bryant bell tower. Sponsored by the Student Government Association, the event is free and open to the public. The day will conclude with the bonfire at 9:30 p.m. on the Kenneth L. Johnson, Sr. HPER complex parking lot.

Friday, Nov. 2 — At 10 a.m., the Annual Alumni Assembly will be held in the Pine Bluff Convention Center arena.

Friday, Nov. 2 — The National Alumni Association will host the Alumni Awards Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. in the STEM building Conference Center at UAPB. Tickets for the luncheon are $45 each and can be purchased by calling 870-536-2309.

Friday, Nov. 2 — At 3 p.m., the National Pan-Hellenic Council will sponsor a Divine Nine Cookout. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday, Nov. 2 — From 6–8 p.m., Follett Bookstore will sponsor an alumni wine, cheese, and shopping event. Located inside the L.A. Davis, Sr. Student Union, the event is for alumni 21 years of age and older. Attendees will receive a one-time 30 percent discount on all merchandise purchased in the store during the event.

Friday, Nov. 2 — At 6 p.m., the Alumni Hall of Fame Banquet will be held in the Pine Bluff Convention Center Ballroom. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased by calling the National Alumni Association at 870-536-2309.

Friday, Nov. 2 — At 8 p.m., the Homecoming Comedy Showcase will be held in the Pine Bluff Convention Center auditorium. Presented by Go Forward Pine Bluff and UAPB along with other community partners, the event will feature comedians Don “DC” Curry, DC Young Fly, Nephew Tommy, and J Jones. Saturday, Nov. 3 — At 9 a.m., the annual Homecoming Parade will be held on Main street in downtown Pine Bluff. The parade route will begin at Martin Street, turn left on Main Street and travel north to Barraque street, turning left on Barraque street and proceeding for one block, ending just past the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Courthouse.

Saturday, Nov. 3 — Pre-game activities will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Simmons Bank Field where the Golden Lions will play the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M University. The 2018 Homecoming Celebration will conclude with the Battle Royale at Simmons Bank Field immediately following the game.
