Two Pine Bluff men were arrested Thursday accused of communicating with a prisoner at the adult detention center who is being held for murder, and with the boyfriend of the suspect, who is also accused of murder and is at large.

Deshawn Bennett, 22, and Eric Johnson, 21, will each have to post $20,000 bonds to be released from the adult detention center after Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled Friday prosecutors have probable cause to charge them with hindering apprehension.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor MIrcha King explained what the men are accused of.

Bennett and Johnson both said they would hire their own attorneys and were told to come back to court on March 25.
