$20,000 bond set for Pine Bluff man involved in alleged altercation

A Pine Bluff man currently on parole was arrested Wednesday after he was allegedly involved in an altercation on the parking lot of the probation and parole office in the Jefferson Square Shopping Center.

During a court-heating Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King explained what Jarod Fike, 31, is accused of doing.

King said Fike pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and sexual assault in 2009.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $20,000 bond for Fike after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with second-degree battery. Fike was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
