Two people were killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle accident near Cabot in Lonoke County Saturday night.
According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, the victims, Wayne Young, 35, of North Little Rock and Stephanie Tighe, 37, of North Little Rock were in a 2007 Nissan Altima that was traveling north in the southbound lane of State Highway 5, south of State Highway 89.
The vehicle collided head-on with a 2015 Cadillac that was traveling south on State Highway 5, south of State Highway 89.
Tighe, who was driving and Young were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants of the Cadillac, Stacy Holly, 46, and Latoya Holly, 30, both of Little Rock, were injured and taken to Baptist Health Springdale.
