The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another wounded.  On Tuesday February 26th at about 9:30 p.m. officers responded to the 3700 block of Camden Road in reference to multiple shots being fired.  Upon arrival a red passenger car was located just east of that location.  Inside the car were 22-year-old Amanda Lee and 26-year-old David Smith of Pine Bluff.  Both of them had gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital by ambulance.  Ms. Lee died of her injuries shortly thereafter and the man underwent surgery.

The shooting occurred as the car sat in the driveway between 3610 and 3700 Camden Road.  After the shooting the car rolled down the street before coming to rest where it was located by officers.  The suspect fled the area after the shooting and remains at large.  Anyone with information regarding this homicide is asked to contact the Detective Division at 870-730-2090 or dispatch at 870-541-5300.  Information can be shared via Facebook at the link listed below.  This will be the fourth homicide of 2019 in Pine Bluff.

Update: Second victim has been identified as 26-year-old David Smith of Pine Bluff.  He is listed in stable condition in an undisclosed hospital in Little Rock
