A $15,000 cash-only bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man on drug and weapons charges.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ryan O’Neal, 33, with three counts of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Reading from an affidavit from White Hall Police Officer Christian Carroll, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said on Saturday, White Hall Police located a vehicle that had been involved in a felony breaking or entering incident earlier in the week.

Carson said O’Neal has a previous drug conviction and a pending drug charge from 2020 for which he failed to appear in court for a hearing in 2021 and an alias warrant was issued for his arrest.

Judge Kearney told O’Neal that any bond he had posted for the 2021 charge was forfeited and he would be held without bond pending a hearing. O’Neal said he would hire his own attorney.
