$10k bond set for man accused of breaking into an apartment and taking several items

A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of breaking into an apartment Wednesday and taking several items.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kamarius Morgan, 32, with residential burglary and theft of property.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said police were sent to a reported burglary at Southeast Apartments.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Morgan and he was told to come back to cour Sept. 21.
