A Pine Bluff man currently on parole and with what prosecutors said was a “significant criminal history” was arrested after a vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped Thursday.

During a court hearing Friday, Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kuron Brown, 23, with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, being a felon in possession of a firearm, criminal use of a prohibited weapon, and possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver.

Deputy Prosecutor Joe West told the court the circumstances that led to the arrest.

Judge Kearney set a $100,000 bond for Brown who said he would hire his own attorney.
