A $10,000 cash-only bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of stabbing a relative Monday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Anthony Gillard, 32, with second-degree domestic battery.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Keith Banks, Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed said police were sent to 1103 E. 13th in response to a reported stabbing.

Reed said Gillard has pending charges in Lincoln County and failed to appear for sentencing on a conviction from Jefferson County for which there is an active warrant. He also has multiple prior felony convictions.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and said he would hire his own attorney.
