A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of breaking into two parked vehicles on Aug. 3.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Cameron Harris. 21, with breaking or entering.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said Boykin was working off-duty at Jefferson Regional Hospital on Aug. 3 and about 1:25 a.m., was standing in the parking lot of the Emergency Room talking to Officer Nate Smith when they were approached by a female who said two cars had been broken into in the parking garage.

When Harris was questioned, he denied breaking into the vehicles and said he knew the other two people only by their nicknames, Fat Boy and KJ. He also because upset and tried to break the recorder Boykin was using to record the interview but later denied trying to break the recorder, saying he was only trying to turn it off.

Harris is currently being held on aggravated robbery and aggravated assault charges stemming from an incident earlier this month
