A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of trying to sell a gun that had been reported stolen.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Quinshon Washington, 22, with theft by receiving.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said on Thursday, Wieland received a call from one of the owners of the Money Corner Pawn Shop on Ohio Street who said there was a person in the store who was trying to sell a gun that had been reported stolen on March 18.

Washington said he would hire his own attorney.
