The topped ranked Arkansas Razorbacks committed three defensive errors in route to a 5-3 loss to 19th ranked Nebraska Sunday in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional semifinals.

The Hogs open the tournament with a 13-8 win over the New Jersey Institute for Technology Friday at Baum-Walker Stadium. Trailing by three early, Brandon Webb blasted a two run shot over the left field wall to pull Arkansas within a single run. The Razobacks would take a 10-3 lead by the bottom of the fifth, with homeruns by Christian Franklin, Cayden Wallace, Cullen Smith, and Jalen Battles. They would score three additional runs in the remainder of the game for a final tally of 13-8.

Arkansas would continue their dominance on Saturday with their 10th consecutive victory, a 5-1 win over No. 19 Nebraska at Baum-Walker Stadium. Matt Goodheart’s leadoff blast in the bottom of the first set a new single-season club record for the Hogs, launching 99 homeruns in only 58 games. The previous record of 98 homeruns in 69 games was set by the 2018 Arkansas squad.
